Start your tattoo
Let's work out what we're making.
A few questions, one at a time. Nothing here needs tattoo vocabulary, and “I'm not sure” is a real answer to most of it. Takes about four minutes.

What happens next
Booking, deposits & cancellations
These apply to every appointment.
- Deposits
- All deposits are non-refundable.
- Cancellations
- If you cancel, the deposit is forfeited.
- Rescheduling
- One reschedule is allowed with at least 48 hours' notice. Your deposit transfers to the new appointment.
- Late rescheduling
- Rescheduling with less than 48 hours' notice forfeits the deposit. A new deposit is required to book again.
- Further reschedules
- Any second reschedule requires a new deposit.
- Lateness
- There is a 15-minute grace period.
- Arriving late
- Arriving more than 15 minutes late may mean the appointment is shortened to fit the time remaining. It will not automatically be extended past its original end time.
- No-shows
- A no-show forfeits the deposit. A new deposit is required before booking again.
Design & revisions
How the drawing gets made, and what's included.
- When design starts
- Siara begins designing once you've committed to the project and the deposit is paid. That's what frees her to give the drawing real, unhurried attention rather than sketching against a maybe.
- What's included
- Two rounds of minor revisions are included in the agreed price of the tattoo.
- Minor revisions
- Small adjustments to detail, scale, placement or arrangement that stay within the design brief you and Siara agreed together.
- Bigger changes
- A change of concept, subject matter, composition, style or overall direction isn't a revision. It is a new direction, and that is a different piece of work.
- If the direction changes
- Depending on the scope, a new direction may need a design fee, another consultation, a fresh quote, or a new deposit. Siara will tell you which before any further work happens, so there are no surprises.
- One considered concept
- Siara develops a single well-resolved design rather than several finished alternatives to pick between, unless you've agreed otherwise in advance.
- After you approve
- Once a design is approved, substantial further changes may carry an additional fee.
Design previews
When you'll see the drawing, and what to expect when you do.
- When you'll see it
- Design previews are generally shared before your appointment, once the concept is ready. Exact timing varies with the complexity of the project.
- Why the timing moves
- The aim is to leave reasonable room for the two included rounds of minor revisions, wherever the schedule allows for it.
- One resolved concept
- Expect one considered design rather than several completely different finished concepts to choose between.
- On the day
- Small final adjustments to placement, scale or detail can also be handled at the appointment.
- Late changes of direction
- If a major design change is asked for so close to the appointment that the tattoo can't reasonably go ahead, the session may need to be rescheduled, and the existing deposit and rescheduling policy applies.
- The artwork stays Siara's
- Designs Siara creates remain her artwork. Please don't post, share, reproduce or take them to another artist before the tattoo is finished.
